Beginners special selection 1

Here is a first selection for beginners in Japanese, around JLPT N5 to N4 levels. The following web mangas are made for children, in a picture book style. Later in the month I'll give another selection for a bit more mature audience.

Kumainu and Chibikuma's adventures in the forest. That's about all.

Here it's about as close to a picture book as you can get: every page is composed of a big picture followed by a few typewritten lines. This is what makes Kumainu Tsûshin ideal for a beginner. Since the text is short you can read a little, stop and read again without having the impression of being in front of an insurmountable wall. Also the text isn't part of the images so as soon as there's a word you don't understand, you can copy-paste it in an online dictionary.

Voici une première sélection pour débutants en japonais. Le niveau visé est JLPT N5-N4. Pour commencer voici des web manga destinés aux enfants, un peu dans le genre des livres d'images. Plus tard dans le mois je donnerai une liste de web manga destinés à un public un peu plus âgé.

Les aventures de Kumainu et Chibikuma dans la forêt. Ça résume tout. 

Ici on est vraiment le plus proche possible du livre d'images. Il se présente sous la forme suivante : une image sans texte suivie de quelques lignes dactylographiées. C'est le grand avantage de Kumainu Tsûshin pour un débutant. Comme le texte est court on peut en lire un peu, s'arrêter, reprendre sans avoir l'impression d'être en face d'une montagne insurmontable. Et aussi le texte ne fait pas partie de l'image donc dès qu'il y a un mot inconnu on peut facilement faire un copier-coller dans un dictionnaire en ligne.
